Hi dear friend! Today I’m going to show you how to add beauty to your meditation space with these awesome mandala decor ideas!
It was so much fun writing this post. 🙂
I really love the looks of mandalas. They can really brighten any meditation room, outdoor meditation space, yoga home space or meditation corner.
With these mandala decor ideas you can either use multiple colors, or just stick to 1 or 2 colors that compliments the look of your meditation space.
Alright, lets add some color to your meditation area…
1. Mandala Tapestries
A fast way to add a big splash of colors to your meditation space, is by using mandala tapestries. They are very versatile, and you can use them as follows:
- To decorate a wall.
- Hang a bunch of them together and you can create an outdoor meditation tent.
- As a special decor for your ceiling.
- To cover an old table, and give it a cool boho look.
- You can cover a worn out chair, and bring it back to life.
- On the floor, to designate your meditation corner area.
To attached them to the wall, you could use push pins, or Self Adhesive Clips for Tapestry.
Also, you can use some tapestry string lights to make them brighter!
2. Mandala Wall Decals
These mandala wall stickers are really cool. All you have to do is peel and stick. You can use it as follows:
- On a door.
- A large window or a glass door.
- On a small corner wall to designate your meditation area.
- Stick them on some furniture surface.
- On a large wall and put a bunch of them to create your own piece or art.
Make sure to read the measurements of the decals, so they will fit where you want to put them, since some of them might be smaller than what is shown on the picture. Also, check on which surface they can be applied to.
3. Mandala Rugs Ideas
These are so cute! I want one in every color. 😉
These mandala rugs are very versatile, you can use them for:
- Creating a really cool yoga space at home.
- Under a round table in the center of the room.
- As the center piece, and put a meditation cushion on top.
- On a corner of a room to design your relaxing meditation space
- Next to your bed if your space is really limited, and you want to have a comfy and pretty surface to sit on.
When selecting them, make sure to measure the area where you wan to put it in. They are available in different sizes, so pick the one that best fits your meditation area.
4. Mandala Floor Pillows
I’ve seen these in different meditation space areas, they are really full of colors! Make sure to read the descriptions, since most of them are for the covers only. However, you can buy the insert separately, just see what size the covers are so you can buy the right size inserts.
Also, a more earth friendly alternative for the fillers (since most of them have polyester) is to use kapok which is a soft, cotton-like and silky fiber that grows on Kapok trees.
