Even if you do get what you really wanted, then there is the fear of losing it. What if he breaks up with me? What if I get fired? What if they steal my car? What if… you fill in the blank.

On the other hand, meditation taught me that inner peace is the real source of happiness, and unlike external things I don’t have to stress out about loosing a job, a house, a boyfriend, and so on, because this peace it’s something that’s always within me.

At the beginning meditation was hard since I had no time to practice, nor could I stop my mind from overthinking. Then I was able to get some guidance, which helped me maintain a daily meditation practice.

For over 10 years I’ve traveled the world to attend meditation and spiritual retreats with renowned teachers such as Eckhart Tolle, Adyashanti, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and more.
